Ultrasound examination from the gynaecology of Queen Mary's confirmed that I am pregnant, but the technician could not detect the baby's heart beat yet since I am only less than 6 weeks pregnant and this is normal if they did the ultrasound on the tummy. I turned down her offer on a transvirgina ultrasound test because I am trying to avoid repeating mistakes from my first pregnancy. Although the Dr. told me a transvirgina ultrasound will do no harm to the fetus, but I will pass this time. I rather take things slowly this time and make sure nothing is going to disturb the growth of my baby.
The technician also said the "fatty layer" on my tummy is probably another reason why the heartbeat is not yet visible.. -_-, how rude..., but accurate comment =P. Anyway, she suggested that I go back 2 weeks later for another ultrasound to make sure and I am going to do just that.

Just checking...
Met up with Dr. Lam at the Mole clinic and she has referred me to the gynaecology for an ultrasound tomorrow to confirm pregnancy.

Bingo!
Oops, I think I missed a period. Bought a pregnancy test kit last night and did the test this morning, and guess what? It is a big "BINGO"! My guess on my last ovulation date was proven accurate, job well done.
Got a phone call from the Mole clinic at QE this afternoon, the Dr. called to tell me that my latest blood work had a very high HCG level and I should be concerned. I told her I am probably pregnant because we have planned for this to happen. She has immediately suggested that I should go in for another blood work and hopefully meet up with their gynaecologist A.S.A.P. Nevertheless, I am not going to get over excited just yet because this is just too early and my history tells me that I'd better be cautious about everything. I have a good feeling about this time though...hope everything works out fine.
