While we were in Taipei, didi attended Ah-woo gor gor's birthday party and met the two lovely girls of Jennifers.

Ah-woo gor gor's mom Terry and Jennifer are both mami's old time friend since high school now all gorwn up and became someones' moms, ah.... how time really flies...

Ah-woo gor gor is the one with lollipop on the left and is a big boy who will be attending P1 this fall.

When we went out for dinner with an uncle in Taipei, we picked Tony Romas because I have been craving for its ribs for ages.

On the first night of the Chinese New Year, there were not too many people in the restaurant so the waitress took the liberty to show Didi around.

Here is the photo, didi is checking out the cute butt of the bar tender...errr...no la, haha, he was watching carefully how the bar tender works his way behind the bar.

Before we left for Taipei, we went to Fesival Walk for breakfast and discovered that MacDonDon has moved to a new location with new interior that really rocks.

At the entrance, a big M was projected onto the floor and it moves! Didi was totally amazed by this new technology and of course cannot help himself... he was laughing and chasing the big M everytime it moved! How adorable!

Chinese New Year in Taipei

We have caught a late flight on the eve of Chinese New Year to Taipei to spend sometime with Granny. Happy Chinese New Year, everyone! See you all later!

I am sleeping beauty...

There was a story behind this photo.

When we were queuing up for the this photo to be taken, dadi asked me who she was. I was not sure and just said Cinderalla randomly. So, when it was our turn, dadi said to the lady ” Hi, Cinderalla.”, and what she replied cracked us all up.

She said: “I am not Cinderalla, I am sleeping beauty.”

hahaha…how embrassing…sorry loh…

巧克力爭奪事件

過年的金幣巧克力被didi發現， 決定讓他玩一下子， 沒想到小子挺醒目， 咬兩下就發現裡面的「新大陸」， 由於是在晚飯時間， 媽媽決定絕對不能讓他吃， 於是發生巧克力爭奪事件。

dadi and jie jie, but no mama......

I suspected that didi knows how to say jie jie (sister, meaning our domestic helper Mariiza who lives in with us for about 5 months now) and dadi (daddy, obviously his father) for quite sometimes but was not sure if it was true. Today, I confirmed it.

I made some PowerPoint slides with photos and Chinese characters that I show him every now and then. Today, I played the family slides and I did not say the words when I was showing them. This little guy said "Dadi" the second he spotted his father's photo on the screen, next photo was me...nothing...and then the third photo was Mariiza...he called out jie jie......ai... am happy and sad...for the obvious reason.

In the afternoon, I told his father that he said dadi and jie jie but not mami, and at the same time asked didi to say "mami". This little guy looked at his dad in the eyes and called out "dadi" again and again. Someone is overjoyed and someone is...no need to say more?



Here is a photo we took when we went to Disneyland this week. Just Miney, no Mickey because we were running out of time...

This month has been eventful. Grandma in HK left for Canada, Grandma in Taipei came to visit and we all went to Disneyland, Chinese New Year is coming and we will go be going to Taipei again. Busy busy busy...
