Unforgetable September

We had a very busy September this year. Didi turned 5 at the beginning of the month, and then we had relatives from New York and a friend from Hamilton who came to visit us. It was very nice for the adults to catch up with relatives and an old friend and great for didi to get to know them a bit more better. This is a September to remember!

Award Assembly@School Today!

didi received a certificate at school assembly today for "sharing his ideas effectively with others". well done my boy! you made us all very proud!

Primary One!

Didi enjoyed his first day at the big kids' school on 19 August, 2010. Although it was only for an hour, he said he liked the new school very much.

Now almost three weeks into his first term, I think he has settled into the new school quite well. He has some old friends from kindergarten who go to the different classes in the primary school, a kung-fu classmate who happens to be a year 2 kid and is also on the school bus with him. Every now and then, the does bring up some other kids' names, so I suppose he is meeting new friends too.

We also celebrated his birthday last week. I really hope Mr Big-5 can truly enjoy a great year at his new school!
