Oh, summer!

Oh, summer! Posted by Hello

This is a picture I took with my new mobile phone when I was on my way home after the check up at the hospital. Those red flowers reminded me the summer days while I was a kid back home, we had lots of this type of trees in the primary school I went to.

I made another trip to the public hospital for my monthly check up. Experienced another phenomenon where a long line of pregnant women holding their own urine bottles waiting for their urine to be tested... This is where you must pay extra attention because you don't want any other preggy woman's urine drops on your hand..... >_<. I still don't understand who invented this system at QE. Not exactly very hygienic, is it?

This time I got a male doctor and he asked if I feel the baby's movment yet. I said, oh yeah, every single day. Then he used this devise on my tummy and I hear the sound of a train...err..no la, the sound of baby's heart beats that sounded like a train in movement. And that was it. He said, all your reports (blood, detailed ultrasound) say everything is ok so you don't have to come the the hospital any more. I went, huh? then where am I supposed to go? They are actually sending me to one of seven Family Health Service Centers in Kowloon for check-ups from now on. I picked the one in Honhum because I had no idea where the other ones were.

So, hear you later didi!

Didi is 22 weeks old.

I am 22 weeks old! Posted by Hello

Yet another blurry untrasound picture from Dr. Cheung's office. He is a great doctor for sure, but his equipment... I think with his excellent skills and experience, he decided he does not need to update his equipment so that we as his patients can enjoy his excellent services at unbelievablely low fees. =P

Didi is doing very well, not too big, not too small, the exact size of a normal 22 weeks old. This time we get a big head shot of him, where the bright shiny bit is his skull. His kicks are more obvious now and Gordon can see my tummy go wabblely when didi uses one of his karate kicks on me. I love to feel his kicks because all these kicks are telling me that he is doing just fine, I guess this would be the only type of kicks I am going to love in my whole entire life, haha. To be kicked by your own kid from the inside. =)
