First Damage

This is first major damage created by didi in the Mak residence. I heard him threw things around before I made this discovery.

No one was told off because I think he did not even know what has happened.

We really need to think about child proof the house now.

Birthday

Technically, didi will have 3 birthdays this year. Two in the Chinese calendar and 1 in the Western calendar. Grandma in Taipei said people should not celebrate birthdays in the "ghost" month of Chinese calendar, but if you really want to sing a birthday song and all, you should do it during the broad day light!

So we bought a mini cake and sang happy birthday to didi in the afternoon of his "first" birthday of his first year!

Oh, yeah, we plan to sing happy birthday to didi more than once and eat more cakes this year! hee hee hee...

He crawls! He crawls!

Holly molly, the boy is really into it this morning, he carwls! To get the shiny CD-Rom, he really put the effort into crawling! So cool.

Now he got the hang of it, he just needs more practice. I hope he does not lose interest in CD-Roms too soon.

When I was cooking dinner, I took didi with me and placed him right by the kitchen door so that he can see me and I can keep an eye on him because he is such a busy body these days. I asked him to sit there and wait. Of course he DID NOT want to wait around and do nothing, typical kid. He kept playing with the sliding door and I kept saying "No, don't do that" to him. When he wanted to get up, I asked him to sit back down. He listened when we had eye contact. For a while I was concentrating on cooking and boom...this little guy crawled silently into the kitchen, which is a "NO ENTRY ZONE" for didi! I did not know how to react...be happy or be mad? hee hee... bitter happiness? I am just so happy that he finally took interest in crawling!

My first golf ball

Daddy gave me a small ball that is white and has a bumpy surface. I think they - the adults - call this a golf ball. I am having fun with it because it rocks and rolls on our green plastic tray~

Oh, and I started to crawl a little bit these days. I don't like crawling because I think it is so slow and a waste of energy. With walking, I can get to the places I want to go to so much faster! The only problem is, I cannot stand on my own yet so I need to hold onto things when I make my way to the things I want to reach and when there aren't things to hold on to, I crawl to get there. Its good that our house is small so that I don't need to crawl so much to get to things I want. hee hee, I am lazy ah-dee.

越來越愛動

現在的didi沒有一刻靜得下來，老愛前往大人設定的「禁地」，專愛搞圖書館借回來的書，媽媽很怕還書時被罰很多錢，因為一沒看緊就會被撕破...還專愛搞亮亮圓圓的CD-ROM，因為看起來很漂亮吧。

爸爸有時候也會跟他玩「放手站」遊戲，有時候可以自己站5-6秒，還很開心的花枝亂顫咧，很搞笑的didi，可能覺得自己能站很得意吧。

本來很擔心didi一直不長牙，現在總算可以鬆一口氣。從八月頭一顆未見，到現在上面兩顆大門牙和兩顆虎牙都長出來了，可以算是雨後春筍般一口氣冒出來。不過下面的牙還沒看到，不過依照他目前口水狂流的情況下，要長出來的日子應該不遠了。

不過，didi最近越來越有「個性」，脾氣還挺臭，也會假哭撒嬌咧，以前牛奶不喝完媽媽訓話八成還會聽話，現在是直接把奶瓶揮開，不理媽媽，真是氣壞人。小孩越來越大，自主性越高，作媽的真是要有夠強的耐力和耐心才行...

Test Passed

Didi passed his ear test today! Both his right and left ears are functioning normally!

We were a bit worried when we were told he failed his test (right ear) the second time when he was about 4 months old, but after observing him at home, we both think he must be fine because he could tell the source of the voices without any problem.

Still, it is nice to have an expert telling you he is perfectly normal after all these tests. =D A good day today!

Our little one...

Didi really is growing into a little guy and capable of more things now. Sometimes I look at him and wonder, how time flies and is this cute little one really mine? didi's father always says: "didi, will you be cute just like this when you grow up?" His old man misses didi's "baby era" already.

we will go and have didi's right ear tested again tomorrow, I hope it turns out normal this time.

What a day

What an "eventful" day...didi banged his head three times and you can see one of his big "bangs" in the picture. The last time was really bad because he fell out of our bed 10 minutes after I left the room thinking he was fast asleep. We were so worried that he might get a concussion so I held him till he fell back asleep. Hope he is ok... feeling mega guilty now.

He is a lot more active now and for a kid his age parents can never be too careful. this busy body cannot resist touching/getting anything that appears "interesting" to him. What interest him the most are things that are danggling, let it be the camera lens cap haing out from our DC, or his bibs that I hang them on our exercise bike, he just cannot resist the tempation to go after them and pull them right down and play with them.

Boy and one of his very first cars. didi is still pretty much in his "explore the world with my mouth" stage. He puts everything in his mouth to learn about it I think.

Another possibilitiy is that he is teething. I discovered little white spot #3 today, that means his two big front teeth are all visible now! Mommy is happy and proud.

didi is giving daddy a first class, VIP, full body, Thai style massage. Good boy! Hope daddy really enjoyed it, haha.

發現小白點二號

今天被didi「咬」時，發現怪怪的，感覺被兩隻牙齒咬到，快點「掰」開來看，雖然男主角拼命掙扎不肯就範，但忙亂中還是看到兩隻剛「破土」而出的小牙，第一隻已經尖尖的囉，好傢伙。

又再學爬

時間：禮拜天下午
地點：play ground
人物：「說不爬就不爬男主角」+亂爬一氣媽媽和playground青春陪爬女童
結果：萬人皆「爬」我獨「坐」，阿di是死硬派的不爬主義者，妳們去亂爬一堆，我坐著笑你們

ORZ~~~，兒子，你真的決定不要爬了嗎？

騙人的假動作...兒子，現在又不是打籃球，不用拿假動作出來騙媽媽唄..

嗯，鹹鹹髒髒的

愛玩又愛看電視

最愛扶著沙發跑來跑去，還愛360度轉身，電視有好看的還要停下來，又想跟媽媽玩躲貓貓，忙到個不行的開心北鼻。

說不爬就不爬

把男主角放在沒有家具的走廊中間，把他最心愛的玩具在不遠處一字排開，爸爸媽媽也都躲起來了，最心愛的珠簾也近在眼前，但在將近一小時的僵持不下後，這位大牌didi依然不肯爬...一點也不肯爬！

雖然過程中有無數次小少爺抵擋不了眼前的引誘 (或是自己一個人無聊透了？)，「爬」的姿勢都已經擺出來了，但最後都又再次坐下，哇哇叫也好，傻笑也好，和媽媽或爸爸躲貓貓也好，始終一次也沒爬過！爸爸說didi是聰明的，只愛學走不愛學爬，他只想和大人一樣站著走路，才不肯學傻bb一樣在地上爬，這可是真的？一.一

媽媽不會放棄的！明天再試過，我就不信你不爬！

今日戰況如下：

didi：「媽媽你沒事幹麻坐這麼遠，過來和我玩啊！」

媽媽祭出一閃一閃亮晶晶的星星玩具，還關燈利用燈光效果誘敵，di敵依然不為所動！氣壞人！

didi：「媽媽你別氣啊，我裝可愛給你看啊！」

再一個月滿週歲

日子過得真的飛快，didi就快一歲了...我也當人家媽快一年了，這兩天didi都跟我們睡，夾在爸媽中間的didi睡得似乎特別安心，一覺醒來可以看到didi可愛的臉，那真是世上最幸福的事，而等到didi睡醒，看到我睡在他旁邊，看到他那滿足的微笑，那是世上最最最幸福的事了。

滿十一個月小記錄：

* 在我們千盼萬盼下終於長牙了，小子先長上面的右門牙，不按牌理出牌，不是應該先長下面的牙嗎？

* 體重保持在10kg，身高在77公分左右(上次量成79應該是錯的)

* 有向前爬，但是超級不愛爬，physio的高姑娘說didi爬的姿勢不正確，有待矯正

* 可以站得很穩，也可以扶著沙發走來走去，愛和我們玩躲貓貓，從沙發的一端追到另一端

* 一天兩頓粥三頓奶，外加水果或優酪乳

* 越來越愛玩和搞破壞，少看一下都不行

* 完全知道被訓話是怎麼一回事，牛奶喝不完扭著要去玩，會被媽媽訓話，完全聽得懂，會給點面子，再多喝幾口。今天早上爸爸給奶喝，居然「配合」didi讓他「趴」著喝，媽媽開門進來父子倆被逮個正著，媽媽對著didi說：「你壞壞」，小傢伙馬上由「得逞」的表情變臉成知道自己被逮到的「喔，糟糕被媽媽看到」的表情，別說小嬰兒不用教他們守規矩，他們可精得很。
