Technically, didi will have 3 birthdays this year. Two in the Chinese calendar and 1 in the Western calendar. Grandma in Taipei said people should not celebrate birthdays in the "ghost" month of Chinese calendar, but if you really want to sing a birthday song and all, you should do it during the broad day light!So we bought a mini cake and sang happy birthday to didi in the afternoon of his "first" birthday of his first year!
