Oh, boy, maMi hasn't added any entry ever since didi was kissed by a girl in the park. Okay, we have been busy. didi goes to school three days a week, and the fourth photo on top row is didi's first art work ( a volcano, with mami's help of course). We have been out and about almost every weekend. Been to places like Sai Kung, Stanley, Lon Gu Tan, Disneyland...
didi's language skill is improving. New words are: flower, ball, the end (when he turns to the last page of a book, he would say this) and sings more songs. New songs that he has learned from playgroup and loves now are "Two little dickie birds" and "Brown bear, brown bear what do you see" (which is also a picture book that didi loves because the teacher sings along while he reads it to the kids. maMi went to the library and checked out a copy of Brown bear so didi can read it at home any time he wants). He even makes mamamamama sounds more often and once I was almost certain that he was calling me mama. We are getting there, slowly, but getting there.
One thing that maMi has noticed is that didi loves to play with adults and older kids but absolutely hates kids younger or his age. When he is bored or in a bad mood and you put him in a situation where there are kids his age (eg his play group), he would act aggressively by grabbing other kids although they did not do anything to him. maMi is quite upset about this behaviour and one day bursted into tears at school (because didi was also being very difficult on that day). How embarrassing... Nevertheless, the teacher's advise is that this is only a phase and once his language skill develops, he will be able to express himself better and these aggressive behaviour will then disappear. I long for that day.
