An Optimistic 2008!

After a few rounds of interviews, we have finally decided to send didi to an ESF Kinder in September. That means we have decided to focus on his language development mainly on English instead of Cantonese nor Mandarin. I guess I will worry about his Chinese after he has acquired a better knowledge in English.

We have also seen a ST and she carried out a detailed evaluation on didi's speech development. She does not think the lag is anything too serious and didi should be able to catch up before he turns three. We are going to attend at least four sessions and I will learn a few tricks so that more training can be done at home.

I am actually having more fun with didi these days as he is more willing to learn and say things that I teach him. All these equal to a good sign in his development of language too. I am thrilled and in no time my little fella will be very chatty!

I am now pretty optimistic about how everything is going. Hope 2008 turns out a great one for everyone!

didi discovered lovely water fountains in Chinese University of Hong Kong last weekend.
