Hokkaido

Hokkaido 2008Hokkaido 2008

We spent five days in Hokkaido in June. Lots had happened during that short trip. We ate jumble size crabs, saw flowers, enjoyed numerous ice creams, visited spots where tourists or the locals have been.

didi also had his share of fun by throwing lots of fits. I don't blame him because he was suffering from a sore throat before we took off. Sore throat was getting better before we headed for the northernland. When we touched down on 27th of June, chilly air of Sapporo really showed us what it is good at. The tempature at 4pm in early summer of Sapporo was around 14 degrees celsius. didi was really coughing up and we got kind of worried because he was coughing non-stop that night. His breathing also worried me.

Next morning, we went to Otaru as planned and he was taken to a local pediatrician. We confirmed that he had bronchitis...

Finally, antibiotics were prescribed and we saw the magic of medicine of Japan. The doctor prescribed a patch that can be stuck onto didi's back to stop his coughing. To me, that was the most amazing thing I have seen from this trip. Most importantly, it worked wonders!

More on the trip later.
