Separation Anxiety

This morning, didi was his cheerful self again but when we wanted him to put his school uniform on, he resisted. So, I started to introduce him to the school name on the back of the shirt, spelt it out for him, then I moved on to the cute little duckie on his sport pants. After that, he was willing to put them on.

To encourage him, I put on my shoes before he put on his and told him that mami is going with him. He then happily put on his shoes and carried his school bag on his back. Off we went without any problem.

However, he just wouldn't walk on the street, not even one little bit, I carried him all the way to school. He probably was worried that I might escape or something. The second we reached school gate, he wouldn't let me put him down and started to develop into a "cry". For the first time in the past two weeks I had to carry him to his classroom and handed him to his teacher. A "real" cry started so I took him to the play area where there is a toy kitchen and started to play with him until his teacher took over. I left after that.

First week went well, this second week just went down hill everyday...
