What have we been reading this summer?

This is a story about a big bear who doesn't bath or brush and is so smelly that no one but the buzz would go near him.

One day, he has an itch on his back but he couldn't reach it. A nice fluffy bear suggested that he goes for a bath and after that she will scratch his back for him. After the bath, his new found friend happens to be a very nice back "scratcher" and they have become good friends after that.

Since then, although big smelly bear says he would never take another bath, but every night he quietly goes to the pond to do something... Every time when I ask didi "What does the smelly bear do in the pond?", he would shout out "Taking a bath!" Yes, he loves this book and would scratch big smelly bear's back for him, haha, that's quite funny.

There are two more books that's worth mentioning.

Hurry Hurry by Eve Bunting: A very simple story with lots of verbs for didi to learn.

One naked boy by Maggie Smith: didi learns how to count to ten and back again with this fun book. He loves the "One" when the baby has to go naked for a bath. When it is his time for a both, he would say "Look, naked boy!". Very amusing too.

Again, this is a book from library. I think library books are wonderful and we should all make good use of it!
